EU Irish Referendum Passes By Comprehensive Margin: Breaking

EU referendum passes by comprehensive margin

60% Yes 40% No

Turnout 50%

Despite the ethnic stereotype of the thick headed Irishman it has gotten through that however bad the conditions of the Stability Pact might be – the alternative would be just to horrible. The turnout is surprisingly large – considering the technical nature of what is to be decided on. Up to now I haven’t been able to understand clearly what is meant with
a “structural deficit”. I’ve heard the explanations; but the exact way of calculation is still a mystery – at least to me.
