If there’s one thing that many people have been demanding for a long time is the way to dislike a post on Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB). If we’ve got a ‘like’ button for appreciating a post, image, or video, then why not a ‘dislike’ button? Well, the good news is that now there’s a way to express your dislike when you’re chatting with your friend on Facebook. This is not exactly a dislike button, but a workaround in a sense.
New sticker pack includes a ‘dislike’ sticker
If you’re using Facebook Messenger, or just chatting with your friend, then you must have noticed the new stickers feature. There are many stickers, but now one more sticker pack is added to the store. This new sticker pack includes a ‘dislike’ sticker.

So instead of adding the ability to dislike a status update, the social network giant has released this new ‘likes’ sticker pack which comes with a thumbs-down icon. All you need to do is to simply head over to the chat screen, and install the sticker pack on your Android or iPhone. Of course, once installed, you can also access these stickers from Facebook Messenger, or when chatting from the website on your desktop computer.
Apart from the thumbs down sticker, you’ll also find different types of thumbs up stickers. The thumbs up icon looks much like Facebook’s like icon. There’s also a sticker holding flowers, just in case if you’re thinking of gifting your loved ones a ‘virtual’ flower.
So that’s how you can dislike a message while chatting on Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB), at least that’s what we can do for the time being.
