Voltari Surges
[drizzle]Voltari Corp. climbed +12% today and is up +27% year-to-date. A provider of digital marketing and advertising solutions, Voltari is among Carl Icahn’s holdings. The billionaire owns nearly 15% of the company.
Intrexon Corporation rallied +8.5%, putting its 2015 gain at more than +55%. As of his most recent 13F filing, Dan Loeb holds 2.9 million XON shares.
Qunar Cayman Islands Ltd. surged +7.09%. The China-based travel search platform is a Tiger Global holding.
Energy XXI Tumbles
Energy XXI Ltd. tumbled -9.43% today, largely as a result of retreating oil prices. Zacks suggests the stock could be positioned for a slump – a bad sign for billionaire shareholders Leon Cooperman and George Soros.
Organovo Holdings dipped -7.13%, putting the stock’s year-to-date loss at nearly -50%. Short interest in the firm seems to be on the rise as well. Chase Coleman’s Tiger Global has a small stake in the development-stage company.
Altisource Portfolio Solutions fell -5.92%. Leon Cooperman has a noteworthy stake in the firm, though he recently unloaded some of his shares. ASPS shares have lost -60% in 2015.
