We have seen leaked images of the Galaxy Note 7 several times in the last few weeks. The device was rumored to arrive in three different colors – silver, blue, and black. A new leak suggests that the upcoming Note 7 will also be available in gold color. The images were posted by South Korean publication Seeko (via SamMobile). The pictures show the Galaxy Note 7 from a variety of angles.
The phone is curved both on the front and back
You can clearly see the sides of the phone. From the side angle, you’ll notice that the glass on the back is as curved as the screen on the front, unlike the Galaxy S7 Edge where the back curve was less pronounced. The image once again confirms the presence of the iris scanner. SamMobile reports that the blue version might be limited to only a few markets. The S Pen stylus will likely get some extra features, including the ability to write underwater.
Separately, a leaked video shows how the iris scanner works on the Galaxy Note 7. Though the device can also be unlocked using fingerprint sensor, the iris scanner was chosen as a method to unlock the Note 7 in the video. A few screenshots have also emerged explaining how the iris scanner works. Samsung recommends that the feature should not be used with glasses or contact lenses, as well as on babies. The iris scanner works best when your phone is 25-35cm away from your eyes.

Will Galaxy Note 7 feature Gorilla Glass 5?
The Galaxy Note 7 is expected to go on sale in launch markets on the same day of unveiling. The device is said to feature a 5.7-inch Quad HD AMOLED display, 12MP main camera, 5MP front snapper, 4GB RAM, a huge 3,600mAh battery, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. The Korean electronics giant is expected to revamp the TouchWiz interface into Grace UI.
Earlier this week, Corning announced that its Gorilla Glass 5 had entered mass production and will be on flagship models from leading smartphone makers later this year. It has fueled speculations that the Galaxy Note 7 may sport the 5th generation Gorilla Glass that can survive a 1.6-meter drop on a rough surface at least 80% of the time.
