iPhone 7 Space Black, Dark Gray, Deep Blue Colors [CONCEPT]

As with all the rumors surrounding the iPhone 7, what colors it will eventually be available in are as hot a topic as its screen size and CPU speed. And if you’ve been keeping an eye on the merry go round that is the rumor mill, then you will already know that Apple is supposed to be doing away with Space Gray as a color option this year. As for what will replace it, a few weeks ago rumors suggested we would see a deep blue variation, however, now a new rumor is suggesting a new dark black variation, which is also being referred to as Space black.

iPhone 7 Space Black

The fact that a Space Black iPhone 7 may become a reality first came to my attention on Twitter. The Israeli tech journalist Shai Mizrachi has tweeted about it and claimed that he has already seen the backplate of a Space Black iPhone 7.

To further prove what he was saying, a render of the handset was provided. And it clearly showed the dark black iPhone 7 design with repositioned antenna bands and also the updated camera that has been talked about so much.

Remember when I said that the iPhone 7 has as many rumors doing the rounds about its possible color, as it does about its CPU? Well, another rumor, this time from the HongKong based AppleiDesigner has been doing the rounds. This time, it seems as though the iPhone 7 will come in dark gray and it look really good!

Deep Blue iPhone 7

Now, I covered the rumor about the possibility of a deep blue iPhone 7 a few weeks before. However, of all the colors that I have seen concepts of so far, the deep blue is this one that I think is the most striking. Designed and put into render by the well-known Apple product designer Martin Hajek, there is a good chance that we could see this come to fruition. As Hajek always seems to get something right with all of his iPhone concept renders.

From the Past to the Present

The last time I can remember an iPhone being really dark was with the iPhone 5 back in 2012. However, whilst that was a dark colored handset, it was not what I would call black. Instead, it gave the iPhone 5 was has been described as a Batman Esque look. Moving on it was not much later than this, that Apple for reasons that are unknown introduced the Space Gray color and decided to stick with it for its entire handset lineup.

As for what the future will hold, with regard to color, who knows? Apple is remaining tight-lipped at the moment so you will have to wait, until September to be 100 percent sure!

Beyond Color

Moving away from the color of the iPhone 7, it is quite possible that all of the rumors surrounding this year’s model could be inaccurate. You never know, it could be launched with a completely new design, which would put pay to all of those who said it would be an iPhone 6s Plus clone.

And there is also the chance that the rumors will be correct, and the base model iPhone 7 will be joined by an iPhone 7 Plus and a much more advanced variant called the iPhone 7 Pro! However, just as you will have to wait to find out what colors Apple will launch with, design, specs, and connectivity options are no different. So you will have to be patient!
