Billionaire hedge fund manager Dan Loeb purchased nearly 7.5 million shares of the solar power solutions manufacturer during the second quarter of 2012, maintaining the position through the middle of this month, when he sold off 1.2 million assets. ISIS Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:ISIS) hit midday trading up +8.75% for the day, crossing its 200-day moving average of $37.87. ISIS is just barely in the green YTD, but it has gained +30.58% over the past month.
Adept Technology Misses the Mark on Results
Adept Technology Inc (NASDAQ:ADEP) plunged -20.04% after reporting fiscal fourth quarter earnings and revenues – and falling short of analysts’ expectations on both. A maker of robots and autonomous mobile solutions and services, Adept Technology has had a rough go in 2014, its price falling -46.36% YTD.
