The rear panel comparison shows how much bigger the new iPhone would be. Apple is expected to launch 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models of the iPhone 6. The one shown in these images seems to be the 4.7-inch variant. The side view lets you spot the difference in thickness. The iPhone 6 is expected to be thinner than the existing models. And yes, don’t ignore those curved edges.

iPhone 6 to have a single speaker grill

Apple has relocated the sleep/wake button to the right side to make the new phone handier. The SIM tray has also got thinner. In the left-side view, the circular volume buttons are now sleeker, longer and handy. On the bottom side of the iPhone 6, there is a single speaker grill to the right of the Lightning port. A rather odd addition to the new phone is the protruding camera lens. In previous devices, it was flusher with the chassis, but Apple has changed the design to accommodate camera in the thinner iPhone 6. It will also allow users to attach different camera lenses.

Rumors suggest that Apple’s key suppliers are facing display production issues which could delay the launch of the phone. If Apple manages to bring the device to the market on time, there could be limited deliveries, at least initially.

Apple shares gained 0.65% to $101.98 in pre-market trading Monday.
