Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iOS 7 will be available for download today, though the iPhone maker has introduced a host of new features in the OS. Whether or not they are acceptable, only time will tell. Going through the timings of the release of iOS, it can be noted that all major iOS releases and iOS 7 beta were released at 10am PDT. One can gather from the trend that iOS 7 will be released to the public at 10 am PT or 1 pm ET in the United States.
For the United Kingdom, iOS 7 may be released around 6pm British summer Time. In Australia, 3 am could be the launch time.
Things to do before iOS 7 download
There are a few things that the user should keep in mind before the download of iOS 7. These are:
First, backup your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch using iTunes or iCloud. Save SHSH blobs for iOS 6.1.3 / 6.1.4, 6.1.2 using a program like TinyUmbrella or iFaith to enable downgrades in future.

Apple has introduced new features in iOS 7
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has added lots of new features to its iOS 7. One such feature is torch, which until now was absent in the older version. Users can activate the flashing button through the new control center.
Another new feature is a fresh control center that can be accessed by swiping the screen upward. The new control panel will allow the user to control Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, switch on Airplane mode, adjust the brightness of the screen and play or skip music. Users will be able to reach control center even on the locked screen.
