Apple Inc. To Release iOS 7 Beta 7 Today [REPORT]

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is gearing up for the official unveiling of iOS 7 and the iPhone 5. According to BGR, the tech giant plans to release the seventh beta update sometime on Monday. Just last week, the iPad maker released an emergency bug patch to speed things up. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) generally releases six beta versions before the gold master release. This should be the final version until the GM release.

Apple iOS 7 update

The update is expected to be released around 1:00 PM this afternoon. The reason behind this extra update was that last week’s was an emergency bug fix and not a full update. We’re expecting the official unveiling of iOS 7 along with the next iPhone on September 10th.

Highlights for iOS 7 include Control Center, which allows users to access certain features quickly. There is also Notification Center, which alerts users of missed calls or emails. Multitasking is another cool feature which allows users to preview apps and update content. Even the camera is improved with four shooting format choices including panorama, video, still, and square. Other notable features include iCloud photo share, AirDrop, improved Safari web browser, iTunes Radio music service, and improved Siri.

Apple leaves room

PhonesReview.co.uk added, “The iOS 7 Gold Master release date is being pegged for September 10, although it is widely reported to land for employees and Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) partners 5 days before this date. Again, this leaves plenty of room for another beta that’s much bigger than the previous release and we know a number of people have complained about certain native apps crashing. Our in-house developer also had issues with Messages crashing occasionally.”

The madness for the iPhone 5S doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. There are a lot of expectations for the next great smartphone but it’s highly unlikely Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) fans will be disappointed.
