The investment management firm’s largest position is Nestle SA (VTX:NESN) (ETR:NESR), which accounts 10.78 percent of its portfolio. Gardner Russo & Gardner purchased an additional 808,306 shares in Nestle bringing its total stock holding in the company to more than 12.6 million shares worth $919.7 million.

Gardner Russo & Gardner also boosted its stakes in Philip Morris International Inc. (NYSE:PM) by 824, 998 shares to more than 8.82 million shares. The stock represents 9.58 percent or $818 million in the firm’s portfolio. The investment management firm also boosted its stakes in its three other largest stock holdings including Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE:BRK.A) (NYSE:BRK.B), which account 8.85 percent, Heineken Holding NV (AMS:HEIO) 7.16 percent, and Compagnie Financiere Richemont SA (VTX:CFR) 6.74 percent.

Some of the new stock holdings of the investment management firm include AbbVie Inc (NYSE:ABBV), Kohl’s Corporation (NYSE:KSS),, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN), Boston Scientific Corporation (NYSE:BSX), Avis Budget Group Inc. (NASDAQ:CAR), Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB), J.C. Penney Company, Inc. (NYSE:JCP), Kohl’s Corporation (NYSE:KSS), LinkedIn Corp (NYSE:LNKD), and Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) among others.

Gardner Russo & Gardner acquired a small number of shares (less than 450 shares) across its 33 new stock holdings except AbbVie Inc (NYSE:ABBV) and Kohl’s Corporation (NYSE:KSS), wherein the company purchased 88,250 shares and 4,000 shares respectively.

Several of the stocks in the investment management firm that increased its position include: Anheuser-Busch InBev NV (NYSE:BUD) (EBR:ABI) by 330,100 shares, Altria Group Inc (NYSE:MO) by 374,026 shares, and SABMILLER PLC ORD (PINK:SBMRF) by 540, 789 shares. Gardner  Russo & Gardner also boosted its stakes in Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA), Unilever N.V. (NYSE:UN) by 672,553 shares, and Wells Fargo & Co (NYSE:WFC) by more than 1 million shares.
