Samsung To Bring Their Witnesses To Apple Case Next Week

On Friday morning, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) mentioned that they’re running their last witnesses by the end of the day. This means that Samsung will bring their own witnesses to court next week.

Samsung To Bring Their Witnesses To Apple Case Next Week

The attorneys for Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) they are picking up the pace from the earlier part of the week. So far, they’ve brought out mostly marketing and design experts. They also brought out two of their executives: iOS Chief Scott Forstall and Marketing Chief Phil Schiller. They still have yet to bring out Bump Technologies co-founder Ravin Balakrishan and Apple’s director of patent licensing and strategy Boris Teksler.

Friday morning, the trial picked up with a continued cross-examination of ORC International Researcher Hal Poret, who has been in charge of tests, which ask users to look at photos of mobile devices to determine brand origins. Apple used that as evidence on their half. Samsung then asked Poret to find out how this survey was conducted and which devices they used in to demonstrate the survey.

This trial will continue throughout Friday and all of next week. We are not sure when the trial will end, nor do we know what the outcome of the case will be, although it looks like Apple might win.

It’s not surprising that Samsung isn’t going down without a fight. Both companies are strong and successful, it should be interesting to see how everything goes down in the end. Apple is a popular brand, and it’s easy to see how others would want to copy their technology, but that doesn’t mean they have the right to do such. Only time will tell what happens with the trial and which company wins in the end. Things look good for Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), but that’s no guarantee. The most likely scenario is that Samsung will owe Apple a whopping amount of money and maybe a few more injunctions on their products.
