iPhone 5 To Release in Fall

According to the reports of Japanese blog Macotakara, the next generation of iPhone has now entered the production process in China. If the reports are true, which like most other blogs claim to be from their “reliable Chinese sources”, Apple can launch this next generation iPhone which can be called as iPhone 5 in September / October.

This Japanese blog Macotakara further adds that there are some design changes in this new iPhone including the addition of glass to the uni-body backplate.

Earlier this year, this blog also announced that the third generation of iPad’s production process started in January and then in March, the new iPad was unveiled to the world. If we apply the same theory to iPhone 5, then we can expect the new iPhone to unveiled in September. Of course the production cycle of iPad and iPhone can be completely different and that’s why we cannot come to any conclusion as of now.iP

This source goes on to say that rumored images and videos floating around the web can be a of pre-production design built for prototype testing. This is true because there are many rumored images floating on the web and many of them can be of iPhone prototypes.

We have seen many reports pointing out to be of a unibody chassis featuring a two-tone metal design but the production model will come with an inlayed glass piece between the backplate’s top and bottom edges. iPhone 4 and 4S comes with tough Gorilla Glass front and back coverings, but the next generation of iPhone will come with a backplate which will be only partially covering by this tough material.

There are also rumors that there is a small hole between the camera and LED flash, which can be of a microphone for rear facing microphone. This small hole is invisible to the naked eye though.

There are still many rumored images and news floating around the web of Apple’s iPhone 5. Now only the official announcement could calm down all these rumors.
