Over the years he has achieved a cumulative 32 percent annual return. Openwave said it currently owns about 200 U.S. and foreign patents and there are approximately 75 more applications pending. Marlin says it plans to rename the units it is buying Openwave Messaging and Openwave Mobility and to continue with the operation, as well as retain the current management teams.
