iPhone 11 unboxing photos and videos light up the internet

Updated on

The new iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max was only announced seven days ago, with pre-orders that started on Friday, September 13. Consumers who pre-ordered Apple’s new flagships are expected to receive their phones on Sept. 20, when the phones will officially appear in the stores. However, just a few days before the release, iPhone 11 unboxing photos and videos lit up the internet, spreading across different websites and social media.

While leaks of this kind are best taken with a grain of salt, it’s worth noting that the phone’s official photos and videos usually leak a few days before they emerge online or in stores.

The iPhone in question is the gold iPhone 11 Pro max that was reported by Genk and featured online. According to the publication, an owner of a store in Vietnam has laid their hands on a gold iPhone and shared multiple photos online. However, when asked about the price and other details regarding the alleged smartphone, the proud owner refused to respond. The phone looks solid and closely resembles the iPhone 11 Pro Max Apple featured during its press event on September 10, in Apple Park.

The photos show Apple’s recognizable minimalist fashion of packaging its devices. Inside the box, the device is packaged similarly to how Apple packaged its previous iPhones. The box comes with all the equipment a new iPhone needs. There is the 18W charger that comes with the iPhone 11 Pro models, which enables fast charging of the device. Despite Android embracing the USB Type C charging model years ago, Apple has kept up with the Lightning cable and adapter for charging its smartphones until now. However, the entry-level iPhone 11 still uses the outdated 5W charger.

This is not the only iPhone 11 unboxing photos and videos. YouTuber and tech gear reviewer Marques Brownlee has posted a video on YouTube in which he details the unboxing of all three iPhone models: 11, 11 Pro and Pro Max.

He took all the phones, which were all green colors, describing what the boxes looked like. It’s worth noting that the standard iPhone 11 box comes in white color while the Pro model boxes were both matte black. He also noticed that the phone doesn’t boast the protection foil on its rear as opposed to the front. In the unboxing video, he showed the standard lightning-powered earphones, and the new 18W charger for the Pro models. According to Apple, the newly-powered iPhones can charge over 50% of their battery within 30 minutes.

Other YouTubers and tech gear reviewers have also posted the new iPhone 11 unboxing photos and videos to highlight its new features before they officially reach the stores on Friday.
