Are you a little forgetful from time to time? I am, and sometimes if I leave my car on a packed car park at the Gym or outside a supermarket, when I come out, it can be difficult to remember where I left it! This is not because I have memory problems, it’s just because most places these days have car park 2,3 and sometime 4 times the size of the actual venue! However, recently I have stumbled upon a solution, I can use my Apple Watch to find my car, and it does it quite quickly too.
How to Find Your Car with an Apple Watch
Actually find your car is simple with this device, you won’t have to download an app to do it. All you will need to do is start the maps app on the Apple Watch, and then wait until it discovers your location. If for some reason, the maps app fails to discover your location, don’t worry you won’t be walking home.
Instead, just tap the blue arrow, which is in the bottom left corner of the screen. Next after the app has located you, you will see a blue dot on the map, tap it and then tap on mark my location.
After doing that you will see a purple pin placed at your cars location on the map!
And that is it, you are now free to go wherever you want, safe in the knowledge that you’ll be able to go where you want to and still be able to find your car. However, once you return to the car park where you left your pride and joy, you will have to re-launch the Maps app on your Apple Watch.
And then tap on the purple pin to bring up the available options. Choose the directions option and the Apple Watch will guide you to your vehicle, you can even get step-by-step directions if you tap on start.

So now that you can find your car no matter where you leave it, just don’t forget to charge your Apple Watch as that’s the only fly in the ointment with this little app trick. If you do forget, I’m afraid if your battery dies and you can’t find your car, maybe you should have chosen a memorable geographic location to have parked it near to.
