Global truck manufacturer Navistar announced on Wednesday, February 4th that it was launching a new company-wide “Uptime Mission” focusing on helping customers keep their trucks on the road. The new mission includes renews commitments to innovative design, quality manufacturing, highly available parts and service,  as well as continued development of technology-enabled truck condition and location tracking service.

The advertising campaign for the new mission will reinforce International’s commitment to building durable, defect-free trucks with a professional dealer network offering fast service and the industry-leading OnCommand Connection vehicle monitoring system.

Of note, new ads will begin later in February in both print and online publications. The new campaign “It’s Uptime at International” will also be visiting several trade shows over the next few weeks, including the Mid-America Trucking Show next month.

As reported by ValueWalk last week, Navistar is in need of some positive PR as they have been dealing with an SEC enforcement investigation into possible fraud at the firm for several quarters now.
