There have been numerous mockup designs and rumors regarding Apple’s highly anticipated iPhone 6. The latest leak involved photos of a purported 4.7 inch iPhone 6.
Another purported iPhone 6 leak
At first glance, the images look like a mockup design or a cloned image of another recent iPhone 6 image. Further inspection and comparison shows this purported phone may be the 4.7 inch version of the upcoming iPhone 6. The photos came from a case maker who obtained the iPhone 6 from a reliable but unnamed source.
It is speculated the iPhone 6 will come in two versions including the 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch version. It is rumored the former will feature resolution of 1704 x 960 pixels and the latter would feature Quad HD resolution 2560 x 1440 pixels. It is also predicted Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) will produce the iPhone 6 with a second generation 64-bit mobile processor, improved graphics, and more RAM.
The upcoming iPhone is also expected to feature an updated camera. One rumor reports Apple will add a 13 megapixel Sony Exmor camera sensor in the new iPhone. The front camera will also likely receive an upgrade. There is no official word on when Apple will unveil and release the upcoming iPhone, but there is speculation the device will be announced on September 9th and arrive in stores on September 19th.
Anticipation for iPhone 6
The upcoming iPhone 6 has a lot of fans excited. One of the rumored features that has everyone buzzing is a possible compatibility with the rumored iWatch. Apple unveiled the Health app at last month’s Worldwide Developer’s Conference 2014. This new app was designed to store the user’s fitness and health vitals for easy access. The rumored iWatch is expected to be a fitness friendly device that makes it more convenient to keep track of fitness stats on the go. There are numerous smartwatches currently on the market, including watches from Apple’s key rival Samsung.
