Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:0059935)’s Galaxy Note 4, which is expected to be officially launched in the beginning of September, could come with many new features. This new fourth-generation phablet could be loaded with some exciting features, including Smart Fingerprint, Multi-Network Booster, Swipe to Launch Motion Launcher and Aqua Capture, as per a report from Sam Mobile.
Amazing new features expected in Galaxy Note 4
The Galaxy Note 4 is expected to be a waterproof device, as this has now become the standard feature of most of the high-end devices from the Korean company. A feature called Aqua Capture could enable the device owner to take all kinds of photographs underwater, along with suggesting the appropriate camera setting for photos.
For security purposes, a new feature known as Smart Fingerprint could be introduced in the Galaxy Note 4. It may be used in a wide range of applications and for purposes that include unlocking the phone, making online payments and accessing restricted data.
Multi-Network Booster is one feature that’s expected to increase the speeds at which users could transfer data by combining the Wi-Fi and cellular Internet connections, thus enabling downloads of gigantic data files.
Another exciting feature could be he Swipe to Launch Motion Launcher, which enables users to launch their favorite and most-used apps quickly without activating the screen. This feature is hugely popular, as it’s already on the HTC One (M8).
Samsung to launch on Note 4 on September 3
Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:0059935) has not confirmed any of the details related to the Galaxy Note 4. The company has only said that it is considering using a curved touchscreen, but it has not finalized that decision yet. The much-anticipated phablet from Samsung is rumored to make its debut on Sept. 3. A report from Android Geeks cites an insider, saying that the company may send the invite for the Unpacked event in August. The timing is synced with the release date of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s new iPhone devices.
“In fact it’s not surprising at all to hear that the Note 4 will be released in September. Samsung has always used the Galaxy Note phablets as instruments meant to steal some of the potential iPhone buyers,” it said.
Some other widely expected specs of the new device are 3GB RAM with a quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor and a 16-MP ISOCELL sensor.
