Updated on

NQ Mobile Inc (ADR) (NYSE:NQ), a leading global provider of mobile Internet services, will come out with its fourth quarter and full year 2013 results before April 15, 2014. The company will come out with another announcement detailing the date and conference call dial-in information by next week.

What to expect?

Presently, the Street expects NQ Mobile Inc (ADR) (NYSE:NQ) to post an EPS of $0.32 on revenues of $62.8 million for the fourth quarter, compared to EPS of $0.23 on revenue of $30 million for the same period last year.

For the third quarter, net revenues for the company increased 110.1% year-over-year to $54.2 million, well above the previous guidance range from the company of $50 million to $51 million. Non-GAAP operating income was up 150.1% year-over-year to $17.1 million while Non-GAAP net income jumped 113.8% year-over-year to $17.4 million.

At the time of announcing third quarter results, NQ Mobile Inc (ADR) (NYSE:NQ) expected fourth quarter revenue to be in the range of $62 million to $63 million. It also raised net revenue guidance range for the year 2013 from $184 million to $188 million to $191 million to $192 million.

NQ Mobile impressive but expensive

NQ Mobile Inc (ADR) (NYSE:NQ) has been witnessing impressive revenue growth, which is higher than the industry average of 10.9%. For the third quarter last year, revenue for the company jumped by 110.1%. However, the growth in revenues has not been able to contribute much to the bottom line.

NQ has a zero debt to equity ratio, which is a favorable sign for investors. Also, the company has a quick ratio of 4.14 reflecting its ability to cover short term cash needs.

Since last year, shares of the company outperformed the broader market during the same period. Analysts at the Street believe that the appreciation since last year has driven the price to a level that is relatively expensive compared to its peers in the industry. This might imply that the upside potential in the stock is limited.

On Wednesday, NQ Mobile experienced unusually large options trading activity as investors acquired 12,656 put options on the company, which represents an increase of 145% compared to an average daily volume of 5,159 put options.

On Wednesday, NQ Mobile Inc (ADR) (NYSE:NQ) shares closed at $16.09 down 7.09%.
