The people have started to realize the importance of central bank meeting minutes being published. In 2008, only 34% of respondents from a Barclays research survey said that publishing central bank meeting minutes was essential. In 2013, that number has risen to 59%. While some major central banks do publish their meeting minutes, several others still do not. The greatest demand to see the meeting minutes is in Japan, where an especially active monetary philosophy exists
