Tech enthusiasts are always eager to watch the unboxing video of the gadget that they’re thinking to buy. The hype increases if someone prepares an unboxing video of the product ahead of the official launch. Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)’s next generation gaming console, the Xbox One, is the next much-awaited gadget, so wouldn’t it be great if we can see an unboxing video of the Xbox One?

Xbox One Unboxing Video Unveiled by Microsoft

Well, you’re in for a treat because Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) decided to tease us with its own Xbox One unboxing video. However, don’t get too excited yet, as the gaming console is not available for gamers just yet – it’s going to take approximately three months to be launched.

Microsoft releases Xbox One unboxing teaser

The video is hosted by Microsoft’s director of programming for Xbox Live, Major Nelson. It’s recently posted on the Xbox blog along with several other details about the gaming console. The unboxing in the video is of the Day One edition of the Xbox One, which as per Microsoft, will be available in limited quantities only. This Day One edition of the console will come with special packaging, a controller, the next-generation Kinect motion sensor, HDMI cable, and an Xbox One chat headset.

Microsoft reverses 24 hour connect requirement for Xbox One

The Xbox One has received backlash from the gaming community because of the console’s requirement that users will need to connect it to the Internet once every 24 hours in order to play games, and also it had some restrictions placed on sharing games. But not anymore! Microsoft finally understood its mistake and reversed its decisions on both fronts.

Perhaps with this video, Microsoft aims to do some marketing and remind users that the gaming console is coming soon – around November and just in time to purchase your holiday gifts. The Redmond company will no doubt be doing everything to attract users and ensure that they don’t choose Sony’s PlayStation 4 over Xbox One. The gaming console war has just begun.
