The Worldwide Developers Conference for Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) just started on Monday and there are quite a few reasons for Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) fans to get excited already. It’s pretty much known that the WWDC is essentially an event where next generation iOS and OS X operating systems are introduced. We usually don’t hear much about upcoming hardware like smartphones or tablets. This year, we know the software announcements will overshadow any hardware announcements. It was just revealed that iOS will offer a brand new experience for iPhone and iPad users.

Munster Thoughts On Apple’s iOS:

Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster explained to NBC News, “The funny thing is that everyone talks about hardware, but the operating system is what they engage with the most.”

This report comes as no surprise as there were numerous rumors that Apple design master Jonathan Ive planned on giving the iOS a much needed makeover. It appears that rumor was true.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s iPhone debut happened five yeas ago, and although the tech giant has revamped their products and operating system consistently every year, it was evident that the iOS was in much need of a makeover.

It’s crucial that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) make these changes quickly because some tech users think Apple has lost its edge. With competition from the likes of Samsung, the Apple team knows that they have to do something quick to excite their users.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s iPhone and iPad are two of the most important devices the company sells. A fresh makeover for the iOS would definitely ignite interest and add to the overall iOS experience. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) fans have been patiently awaiting for some significant changes and it looks like they will get that this year. There is no telling what these changes will be exactly and we won’t know until the moment the changes are officially unveiled.

Big things are coming today and throughout the week.
