China’s Vipshop, Autohome Surge

With an impressive +32.77% jump, today’s top midday gainer is Chinese online retailer Vipshop Holdings Ltd – ADR (NYSE:VIPS). The stock is up +102.02% this year, today’s surge fueled by impressive Q4 results. VIPS is held by Tiger Global and George Soros.

At a distant second is Autohome Inc (ADR) (NYSE:ATHM), up +11.89%. The stock price of the Chinese car content website has increased +30.40% in just a week, as it delivered strong results in late February. Tiger Global also has a position in ATHM.

Last on today’s list of midday gainers is Sunedison Inc (NYSE:SUNE). It jumped +10.6% after announcing a deal with Deutsche Bank to construct a new power generation facility in the United Kingdom. Leon Cooperman, David Einhorn, and George Soros have bet on SUNE.

McDermott International having a rough day

Having a rough start to the day is McDermott International (NYSE:MDR), down -8.25% after posting unimpressive results. David Einhorn is affected by this one.
