One accessory will enable you to attach additional lenses to the Galaxy S6 camera

In the last few weeks, a series of leaks from different sources have given us a clear picture of what the Galaxy S6 would look like. Now a new report from Polish website Android.com.pl has learned from its sources that Samsung is working on a number of replaceable back covers that go beyond the usual S View case and Qi charging.

Users will be able to customize their Galaxy S6

The Galaxy S6 will have a connector on the back to let users attach new covers to the device. According to the report, these accessories will add extra functionality to the Galaxy S6. The Polish website says one back panel will have an E-Ink display that would make reading on the phone easier. E-Ink display adds a second screen to the back of the device. It would be similar to the YotaPhone 2.

Another back cover will enable users to attach additional lenses to the Galaxy S6 camera. Reports suggest that the device will have a 20-megapixel main camera with Optical Image Stabilization. Similar aftermarket lenses are already available on the market for many other smartphones. Another accessory will improve the functionality of the S Health app. The cover could measure a user’s blood sugar and heart rate, and send the data to a doctor.

Galaxy S6 to be unveiled at MWC

South Korean website Chosun.com recently claimed that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S6 on March 2 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The device will hit the markets within a few weeks of the official announcement. Earlier this week, Vodafone Netherlands’ website accidentally revealed that the Korean company will launch two versions of the device: a standard Galaxy S6 and a curved screen Galaxy S Edge.

There have been rumors that Samsung would drop Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 processor from the Galaxy S6 due to overheating issues. But Don Clark and Min-Jeong Lee of The Wall Street Journal have learned from inside sources that Qualcomm will supply a special version of Snapdragon for the Galaxy S6 by March.
