Red Dead Redemption 2 And GTA 6 Release Date E3 2016 [REPORT]

Updated on

If you love PC and Console gaming, then there has been a hint of good news in the last day or so with Take-Two teasing that Rockstar games is working on Red Dead Redemption 2 and even maybe GTA 6. However, I already know that Rockstar will not be launching Red Dead redemption 2 yet, it will more than likely be revealed at E3 and GTA 6 could be revealed there too.

Straight from the Horse’s Mouth

CEO of Take-Two Staruss Zelnick recently said:

“Looking ahead, we expect to grow Non-GAAP revenues and earnings in fiscal 2018, based on our robust development plan that extends well beyond the current fiscal year. Rockstar Games is of course hard at work on some exciting future projects that will be revealed soon,”

He also went further and hinted that the games developer has some major AAA titles in the works, which will help to bolster FY2018 earnings by a long way. However, what would improve sales more than Red dead redemption and GTA 6?

“You mentioned you expect growth on revenue and earnings for FY18, so what gives you the confidence to say that now?”

Enquired an Analyst during a recent Q&A session.

“It’s what we’re working on in our development studios,” said CEO Strauss Zelnick. “We have very good visibility into our pipeline, and based on what we see, it gives us high confidence for FY18 growth,”

Added the Take-Two president Karl Slatoff.

Red Dead Redemption Game Size

Various leaks and rumors doing the rounds on-line have suggested that the next Red Dead Redemption game will be called “Legends of the Old West” and will be set in a prequel time-line. This new version of the hit game is said to absolutely massive; this information comes from a leaked in-game map, which shows that the open world map for this new game will be much larger than the previous.

As for GTA 6, there does not seem to be much talk about this game, it could be that Take-Two have managed to keep the lid on this one much tighter than with the other. So whatever is going to happen, we will have to wait until E3 to find out exactly is going to happen, but thanks to CEO Zelnick we can be pretty sure that there are some long nights of gaming ahead!
