The oil and gas firm has struggled in 2014, its price falling -57.17% YTD. An acquisition deal would have major implications for billionaire investor Carl Icahn, who as of Q3 holds 76.06 million Talisman Energy Inc. (NYSE:TLM) shares. Ray Dalio is a Talisman Energy shareholder as well.
