Nokia has announced two new Lumia phablets today at the Nokia World Show in Abu Dhabi. The new 6-inch full HD smartphone runs on Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset clocked at 2.2 GHz with 2GB RAM. In fact, the Lumia 1520 is the first Windows Phone 8 smartphone from Nokia to feature a quad-core processor, and a 6-inch screen. With this new offering, Nokia has finally entered the phablet market, making itself a competitor to Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 and HTC’s One Max.
Hot on the phablet market, and perhaps the most popular of the lot, is the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. HTC also announced the HTC One Max last week, which features a 5.9-inch screen and a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor. Now with all these new big-sized smartphones, known as phablets, we won’t be surprised if it confuses consumers as to which one to buy and what features they offer. Let’s compare the technical specs of the Nokia Lumia 1520 with HTC One Max and Note 3.
