It’s just not been the right week for Nasdaq OMX Group Inc. (NASDAQ:NDAQ). Reports breaking this morning say that the company’s Nasdaq exchange is once again having problems this morning. The company’s options trading software suffered from a data feed issue earlier this week that shut down part of its business.

The news was broken this morning in a Tweet from Zerohedge. It was confirmed by the Nasdaq itself moments later. The exchange advised that clients should stay away from the options market until the problem is resolved. The company has not given any real indication as to what the problem with the options market is, but it may be related to the data feed problem that shut the market down on Tuesday.
Nasdaq halt
On Tuesday some options markets stopped trading after Nasdaq said there was a problem with the market’s data feeds. The exchange later revealed that human error had led to the problems in the exchange software. That halt was the second that the exchange suffered due to software problems. The company suffered a much bigger problems with software back in August.
