A friend shared the following article with us this week from the July 1974 edition of Forbes magazine. In 1974, Sir John Templeton was 61 years old. The Templeton Growth Fund was relatively unknown with only $18 million under management. After publication of the following article, AUM grew exponentially. When Sir John sold the business in 1992, the Templeton Funds managed approximately $20.7 billion!
