Lunch with Warren Buffett costs $2,679,001 (winning bid on ebay for charity).  There were 6 bidders who made a total of 42 bids during this annual week-long auction to benefit the Glide Foundation (San Francisco, CA).   Last year’s (2016) winning bid of $3,456,789 has been the highest over the 18 year history of this auction, which equaled the winning bid in 2012.  The winner of last year’s auction is anonymous.  So far, the winner of this year’s charity auction has not been revealed.
