Apple is soon going to unveil the company’s next generation of iPhone, dubbed as the iPhone 5S, but the sheer amount of leaks leaves very little to get excited about in regards to the official event. Until now, we’ve mostly seen many leaked images and videos of the said device, and what’s worth noting is that they usually line up with previous rumors which can be an indication that they are indeed legitimate.

This time, we’ve got photos of the iPhone 5S box packaging. What’s worth giving attention to is the new tweaked home button design, which means that Apple has ditched the old iconic design. The new design represents a small circle, with a ring around its edge.

These two images, just like previous rumors suggest that Apple is really coming up with a fingerprint scanner for improved security. Also, note the iPhone 5S written on the box (in the below image).

This tweaking of the home button was done perhaps for the fingerprint sensor that lies within this button. If we’re to speculate about the gray colored rings, then it could mean a new fingerprint sensor. The other colored rings can suggest the new multicolored iPhone 5C, Apple’s low cost version of iPhone. Who knows, perhaps these are just small clues that Apple wants to give us. Of course, we’re just speculating at this point and nothing is official yet.

Apart from the fingerprint sensor, the iPhone 5S might come with dual-core Apple A7 CPU, 2GB of RAM and 12 megapixel camera with dual LED flash. Speaking of color, the iPhone 5S will come with a new champagne (light gold) color.

It is expected that the Cupertino company will be announcing the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C at the September 10th event. Until then, stay tuned to ValueWalk!
