International Tower Hill Mines Surges Yet Again

Up +12.9%, this Monday’s top midday gainer is International Tower Hill Mines Ltd (NYSEMKT:THM). With strong 2013 results filed last week, the company is now up +168.29% this year – great news for billionaire holder John Paulson.

Legislation Changes a Threat to Verisign

Audience Inc (NASDAQ:ADNC) dipped -13.41% midday today even after getting an upgrade on its stock price – likely the result of short-term investors capitalizing on its recent surge.

Infrastructure provider Verisign, Inc. (NASDAQ:VRSN) slipped -7.34%. It may be looking at a business model shake-up following news that the U.S. government will no longer oversee the system for web addresses and domain names. Steve Mandel, Warren Buffet and Ray Dalio all have allocations in Verisign.

Third on today’s list of losers is Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE:HLF), down -6.46%. Herbalife is facing a lot of speculation regarding its business model, with billionaire Bill Ackman leading an offensive against it. Both Carl Icahn and George Soros have bet on HLF.
