Well, for those who were craving for a web version of Instagram, it’s finally here. Instagram has rolled out new Web profiles, which strongly resemble Facebook’s Timeline. These Web profiles come with a Timeline like big cover photo on the top, a small profile image, and all other images that you’ve uploaded to Instagram appear below.
When viewing photos from the Web profile, a user can easily like and comment on photos, and follow other users directly from the web, provided the user is logged-in.

We are not surprised to see that Instagram Web profile resemble the Timeline, as Facebook has acquired Instagram this past September. We can see much deeper integration between the two giants in the future.
To see your Instagram Web profile, type in instagram.com/username. For example, instagram.com/nike to view the profile of Nike. You can check out the profiles of anyone, even if you don’t have an Instagram account.
So what do you think of this new Web profile? Share your thoughts in the comments.
