Voltari Corp Jumps Early in the Day

The share price of Voltari Corp (NASDAQ:VLTC) jumped +11.62% early in the day, rendering it today’s top midday gainer. The mobile data solutions provider is a Carl Icahn pick. The billionaire owns 678,000 VLTC shares as of Q1 and initiated the position in the second quarter of 2013.

Following VLTC is vaccine developer Agenus Inc (NASDAQ:AGEN). Its price surged +6.21% after its presentation at the Jefferies 2014 Global Healthcare Conference. Billionaire George Soros owns 102,000 shares of the health care company, which he acquired last quarter.

Infoblox Spirals as Outlook Appears Grim

Infoblox Inc (NYSE:BLOX) tumbled on the stock market midday today, its price plunging -39.28% after missing the mark on fiscal third-quarter results and announcing the pending resignation of its CEO. The network equipment maker also has a tough outlook for Q4. Billionaires Julian Robertson and Richard Chilton have positions in BLOX, holding 36,000 and 242,000 assets, respectively.

Following BLOX is Splunk Inc (NASDAQ:SPLK). Its price fell -16.50% midday today as analysts downgraded its rating on bad results. A developer of web-based application software solutions, Splunk is in the investment portfolios of George Soros (41,000 shares) and Julian Robertson (15,000 assets).

Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. (NYSE:LGF) finishes off today’s midday loser podium, slipping -12.22% after reporting disappointing results for its fiscal fourth quarter. It missed Wall Street revenue expectations by nearly $100 million, and news of a potential Hunger Games theme park tour wasn’t enough to help it bounce back. Soros holds 336,000 LGF shares.
