Posting interesting images to Facebook is something that many people love to do. Whether we are just posting a personal picture or some other image from the web, normally we have to download that image from the web and then upload it to Facebook. This task can get repetitive if we have to upload many images and it may look time consuming. Well, not anymore, as there’s a small trick to post pictures from the web directly to Facebook, without downloading them. Thanks to Reddit user markesh for the tip !
The pictures from the web can be quickly uploaded to Facebook by simply copying and pasting the image URL to the Upload dialog box. Here’s how to do this:
- Right-click the image that you want to upload and select “Copy image URL”.
- Now that the image URL is copied to the clipboard, head over to Facebook and click on “Add Photo / Video.” Next, click on “Upload Photo / Video”.
- In the resulting dialog box, paste the image URL in the “File name” field. Click on “Open” and then wait for a few seconds. Enter a caption and click on “Post” to post the image.
That’s it. The photo will now be posted to Facebook. This trick surely saves the time over downloading the photo and then uploading it again. Try it out.
