Now that Apple has pushed Beta version of their iOS 6 mobile operating system, like always, the jailbreak community has become active to implement some of those features to the current public release (iOS 5). Those eager ones can try out the latest tweak from Cydia store – the iOS 6 Photos Menu which requires iOS 5 or higher.

After installing this package from the Cydia store, it brings out a new ad improved sharing menu to the Photos app. This menu brings the options available from first beta release of iOS 6. Don’t expect any significant changes but it does brings out a few new visual changes.

When an image is selected and the additional action menu button is tapped, this tweak brings out an icon-based sheet to the user, as you can see in the below screenshot.

This doesn’t mean that some options are removed from the menu, but all current options still work such as using the image as a home screen or lock screen, messaging, mailing, assigning an image to the address book, copying to the clipboard and printing with the help of a wireless printer.

The new Facebook and Google+ buttons allow you to share the photos on Facebook and Google+ just like we share on Twitter with iOS 5’s Twitter integration. To post the photo to Facebook, just tap on Facebook button which will open a prompt asking you to enter a message along with the picture.

This tweak doesn’t need any configuration. If you’re the one who loves sharing on Facebook and Google+, or want that iOS 6 style Photo sharing menu on your iOS 5 device, then you should definitely give this tweak a try. Plus, you don’t need to shell out anything, its free!

You can download iOS 6 Photos Menu from the BigBoss repository which requires iOS 5 or above. Give it a shot from the Cydia store.
