Google Nexus 4 Sold Out Within A Few Minutes In US Google Play Store

Google’s Nexus 4 smartphone was sold out in the U.S. Play Store within minutes of its listing. The Nexus 4 went on sale at 8:35 and just within a few minutes, both the models – 8GB and 16GB – were sold out.

Talking about other countries, the Nexus 4 was completely sold out the UK, but the tablet is still available, and up for grabs. In Europe, the smartphone has been sold out there as well. Many buyers have reported their dissatisfaction at how Google handled the checkout process. These users were not able to pay the amount and then all of a sudden they came to know that the device is sold out.

This sellout is good when looking at Google’s perspective, but we don’t know how much stock was up for grabs. By looking at the short time, we can only say that Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) did not have much stock of both the variants of the Nexus 4.

For now, if you are thinking of buying this smartphone, then you can enter your email address and click on the “Notify me” button from the Google Play store so you can know when the Nexus 4 becomes available.

The Nexus 4 is made by LG and in addition to running Google’s latest operating system, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, it features a 4.7-inch display and a 1.5GHz Quad-core chip.

The Nexus 4 has received good reviews from the blogosphere and you can also check out the Nexus 4 review roundup to know about the opinions of the experts on Google’s new offering.
