The Federal Open Market Committee’s voting members are likely to be decidedly more hawkish in 2014, as shown in the chart below from Credit Suisse.

Esther George, currently the FOMC’s most hawkish voting member, will not be voting in 2014, but Charles Plosser and Richard Fisher, both very hawkish themselves, are on deck.

There are several members who will be leaving the Fed shortly for other various reasons, so we will not have a complete concrete view of the committee’s leanings until all new appointments are made.
