Final August Michigan Consumer Sentiment Reading At 82.1

Reuters reports that the final reading of the University of Michigan’s consumer sentiment index was 82.1 in August. This is an increase from the preliminary August estimate of 80.0, but is lower than July’s reading of 85.1.
