Today’s leading midday gainer is Federal Mogul Corp. (NASDAQ:FDML). The components and systems supplier shot up +9.94%, reaching $21.24. In September, Carl Icahn reported holding 121.1 million shares, composing 8.25% of his portfolio.

Following Federal Mogul Corp. is Biofuel Energy Corp (NASDAQ:BIOF), an ethanol producer. Its share price increased +7,87% to $1.92. Daniel Loeb has a 1.05-million share position in BIOF (0.10% of his portfolio), and David Einhorn holds 1.4 million assets (0.09% of his fund).
