Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE:CHK) was included in Fortune Magazine’s list of “100 Best Companies to Work For.

The company ranked 26th, the second highest ranked company in the energy industry, despite the fact that its CEO Aubrey McClendon was considered the worst CEO in 2012 because of controversies.

This is the sixth consecutive year Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE:CHK) has been named as one of the 100 Best Companies to work for. According to the company’s press release, was ranked was ranked 26th, making it the highest listed Oklahoma-based employer for the third consecutive year.

According to McClendon, the employees of the company are inspired and motivated to make Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE:CHK) a great place to work. Last year, Chesapeake ranked 18, Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) ranked number one, Boston Consulting ranked second and SAS Institute ranked third.
