But the Canadian smartphone maker has already started taking pre-orders for its new phone. It is aimed at BlackBerry fans who still love the physical QWERTY keyboard. BlackBerry Classic aka Q20 and Nexus 6 are phones with huge differences. But they are two offbeat phones. The ailing Canadian company will reportedly pack the Classic with new features that will give rivals a run for the money.

Dimension and display
BlackBerry Classic will sport a 3.46-inch touchscreen with 720×720 pixel resolution and 291ppi pixel density. It will feature BlackBerry’s physical QWERTY keyboard. In contrast, the Nexus 6 boasts of a 5.96-inch AMOLED display with 493ppi pixel density. It has a dimension of 6.27 x 3.27 x 0.40 inches and weighs 6.49 ounces.
BlackBerry Classic vs Nexus 6: Camera
BlackBerry’s Q20 will arrive with 8-megapixel main camera with LED flash. It will also have a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The Nexus 6 comes with a 13-megapixel main camera and 2-megapixel front snapper. It has dual LED flash and optical image stabilization to capture high-quality images even in low light conditions.
Processor and memory
BlackBerry Classic is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset with 1.5GHz clock speed. It features 2GB RAM and 16GB built-in storage, with a microSD option to expand storage up to 128GB. Google’s latest phablet features Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor with 2.7-GHz clock speed and 2GB RAM. It also has Adreno 420 GPU to enhance gaming performance. The Nexus 6 is available with 64GB internal memory.
Price
Though Google had previously offered its Nexus devices at dirt cheap prices, the company has gone premium with its Nexus 6 phone. The company has priced Nexus 6 at $649. In contrast, the BlackBerry Classic will set you back by $449.
Among other things, the Classic supports 4G LTE and NFC, which high-end Android phones have offered for a long time. Classic will run BB 10.3 OS and has a 2,515mAh Li-Ion battery. It’s clear that BlackBerry has designed its Classic with traditional BlackBerry fans in mind. If you are not a hardcore BlackBerry fan, you are better off buying the Nexus 6.
