Amazon App Store for Android has finally gone live from covering a mere 7 markets up to 195. Around a month ago, the company revealed its plan to launch the store in nearly 200 countries and finally it has happened. Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) now supports App Store in countries like Australia, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, India, South Africa, South Korea, and even Papua New Guinea and Vatican City.

Based on this changelog, it seems that the app availability will be based on the U.S. store for all countries, except those in the EU which are governed by their own stores. Now users can purchase Android apps legally, without resorting to any hacks, VPNs, or any other issues.
