ADP Sees 176,000 Jobs Added By Businesses In August

During the month of August, the change in U.S. nonfarm private employment was a gain of 176k, ADP reports. This is lower than July’s revised reading of 198k, and is the slowest growth of the last 3 months.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics will report its nonfarm payroll numbers along with much more in its employment situation report that will be released on Friday.
