The Italian securities researcher Luca Todesco has revealed that an updated Yalu tool will provide an iPhone 7 jailbreak. One that thanks to his continued work, will support iPhone 7 and the 7 Plus running on iOS 10.1.1.
Why a 2nd Yalu iPhone 7 Jailbreak solution?
If you don’t already know Mach_Portal+Yalu offered a jailbreak solution which included both iPhone 7 variations. However, Todesco intended that software to be used by developers because it was quite buggy. Meaning, that if a user with little experience used it, they would probably have gotten into difficulty.
As for what this updated solution is, it could be Yalu102 in its 7th beta, one which has proven to be stable. Additionally, up until now, it has supported all compatible 64-bit devices up to the iPhone 6s Plus on iOS 10.2. So because it’s tried and tested means that adding support for the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus on iOS 10.1.1 reassures users. And that’s because Yalu102 is fundamentally a more stable tool than the Mach_Portal+Yalu tool could ever be!

When will this solution be Ready?
As it stands right now, Todesco has not revealed when the tool will be available. Nor has he made it clear whether it will appear in a new version of Yalu102 or as an updated Yalu1011. However, some have speculated, he is likely to use the later as a device for the improved iPhone 7 jailbreak.
So, what can we take from this news? Although the jailbreak community has seen some of the most feverish activity recently, not one fits all solution exists. And the reason could be Apple‘s attempts to be one-step-ahead of jailbreakers all of the time. The culmination of which has led to the disparity between what devices can run iOS 10.2 jailbreaks and those that can not.
Luca Todesco and Others
Fortunately, for the jailbreaking community, there are those like Luca and the PanGu team who are constantly working on solutions. Yes, they may go about their work in a differing manner, Todesco with constant small updates working towards stability. With the PanGu team releasing solutions that work out of the box, hence the wait. Ultimately, though, people and groups like this go above and beyond what to help for apparently no financial gain! So when they bring out continuous updates aimed at compatibility and stability, everyone should be happy.
So now that the iPhone 7 jailbreak for iOS 10.1.1 has been refined and is more stable than previously. What does the future hold, will there be a solution for iPhone 7’s running on iOS 10.2? The answer to that is, we don’t know, however, we expect that individuals and teams are working on it. But whether they decide to share their findings publically is another matter, so watch this space!
Because, as soon as we know, you will too.
