The rendered image pairs up the phone to BlackBerry Porsche P’9981. The comparison photo shows the rendered phone with a QWERTY keyboard. The actual specs for the rumored phone have yet to be revealed but the renderings suggest a 3.5 inch touchscreen display, dual-core processor at 1.7GHz, 3GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. The actual price is not mentioned, however given the price of the first BlackBerry Porsche, its likely to be expensive.

There is still no official word when the company formerly known as RIM will release the new gadget.

BlackBerry has been struggling in the smartphone market for years now. The once-thriving tech giant used to have a strong lead in the cell phone industry before Apple introduced the iPhone. Most phone-makers have had a hard time with competing and only a handful of companies were able to offer direct competition, namely Samsung and HTC. For companies like BlackBerry, the failure to thrive may cause it to shut down in the near future.

BlackBerry prepares to launch another phone

For now, BlackBerry refuses to slow down anytime soon. Specification for another upcoming smartphone, the BlackBerry Square, have been revealed. The anticipated gadget will include a 4.5 inch LCD display with 1440×1440 pixels, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Additional specifications include 13-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, 2-megapixel front camera, 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800, 3450mAh battery.

What sees the BlackBerry Square smartphone apart from other is the fact it will be the first phone model to feature a BB 10.3 operating system. The device will also feature a voice-based assistant that rivals Apple’s Siri. The Canadian tech company has a lot in store for fans it can continue to move forward.
