If you’re not a fan of Samsung, HTC, Sony or Apple, don’t worry, there’s yet another flagship smartphone coming, and that’s the LG G3. The smartphone is expected to be announced by the end of this month, and according to the various rumors and leaks, it will be indeed a powerful device worth waiting for. Let’s take a closer look at the technical specs and release date of LG G3.
LG G3 technical specs
According to the latest rumors, courtesy of TechManiacs.gr, the G3 will feature a Snapdragon 805 processor. Previous leaks suggested it might come with the Snapdragon 801, but it looks likely that those were just the early prototypes. In the past, Qualcomm has also mentioned that the company will be launching new devices with Snapdragon 805 in May, and apparently the LG G3 is the smartphone that Qualcomm was talking about.
Apart from the Snapdragon 805, the new device will also feature 3 GB of RAM and a 5.5-inch Quad HD 2650 x 1440 pixels display. On the storage front, it will come with a solid 32GB of internal memory and microSD card support for expanding the storage.
The phone will also include a powerful 3200 mAh battery pack, which means users can expect good battery backup power to satisfy the relatively high demands of its powerful components.
The LG G3 is also expected to sport a cutting-edge 13-megapixel rear camera, coupled with a 2.4-megapixel front-facing camera. The new device is also rumored to feature 4k video recording. The smartphone will also be able to capture good snaps even in low-light conditions with optical image stabilization.
As always, one should take these rumored tech specs for the LG G3 with a pinch of salt as nothing is official yet. We’ll just have to wait for May 27th and see what LG has in store for us.
