Dunkin Brands Group Inc (NASDAQ:DNKN) is opening its new Dunkin Donuts stores along with its sister brand, Baskin-Robbins in San Diego, California, and Katy Texas.
The company said it will open its Dunkin Donuts store together with Baskin-Robbins at the Embassy Suites San Diego Bay Downtown on March 10.

Third non-traditional Dunkin Donuts location in CA
Dunkin Brands Group Inc (NASDAQ:DNKN) said the opening marks the launching of the first non-traditional Dunkin Donuts restaurant in the San Diego County. It is the third non-traditional Dunkin Donuts location in California.
According to Dunkin Brands Group Inc (NASDAQ:DNKN), it will give away free Dunkin Donuts travel mugs to the first 100 guests to commemorate the grand opening of its location at the Embassy Suites. The company said customers can use the travel mugs for a $0.99 coffee refills during their future visits. In addition, the company is offering a 20% discount for active and retired military personnel with valid ID for Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins throughout March.
In a statement, Grant Benson, CFE, vice president of global franchising and business development, Dunkin’ Brands said, “We are excited to partner with the Embassy Suites San Diego Bay to open the first non-traditional Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant in San Diego County. We look forward to serving the hotel guests and San Diego locals high-quality coffee, snacks and ice cream treats served in a fast, friendly and fun environment.”

Dunkin Donuts Katy opens with charity event
Meanwhile, the Dunkin Donuts restaurant along with Baskin-Robbins will be opened on March 18. During the opening, there will be a Dunkin Cups Charity event wherein selected high schools and non-profits in the area will compete for the $1,000 grand prize donation for their organization.
