If the folks, or more specifically, Dustin Earley at the website AndroidAndMe has it right, we can expect the unveiling of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930)’s Galaxy Note 3 on September 6th at the IFA Trade Show in Berlin, Germany.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Release Date: September 6 [REPORT]

Galaxy Note 3 – Rumors of Specifications

In the past months, rumors have been swirling around the technical specifications the device will bring to the market. Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930), as per usual, has neither been the source of these speculations nor have they confirmed or denied any of the rumors that invariably come with its product launches. Unlike Apple boffins, who enjoy going out for a drink and leaving their as yet unreleased iPhones lying around Silicon Valley drinking establishments, Samsung has done quite a good job of keeping its products away from Gizmodo and similar websites.

All that said, The Korea Herald is predicting that the Galaxy Note 3 will come with a display of 5.7-inches with a full HD screen resolution. That would give it a comfortable home between the 5-inch Galaxy S4, and 6.3-inch Galaxy Mega. The same report out of Korea suggests that the Galaxy Note 3 will also be equipped with a quad-core processor of the Snapdragon 800 or Exynos 5 Octa variety, and a 13MP camera.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930) typically uses an Unpacked event away from IFA to introduce the new device and then shows off the Galaxy Note itself at the trade show, but according to this same report, and in the opinion of Dustin Earley, Samsung will not use an Unpacked event but will rather announce the Note 3 a couple of days before the IFA conference. The IFA Trade Show 2013 runs from September 6th to September 11th.

Owing to the success of the Galaxy Note 2, rumors will continue to swirl around the Galaxy Note 3 until it is finally unveiled to the public. I’m confident that this will not be the last time that I report on rumors surrounding the product.

The Galaxy Note series incorporates a Wacom S Pen for the professional on the go that doesn’t have time to type out all that needs be saved as a reminder or sent by email. If you haven’t considered purchasing a Galaxy Note, know that the writers and reviewers at AndroidAndMe consider the Galaxy 2 to be an incredible device and expect even more from the Galaxy Note 3.
