At a press event in Bangalore, Asus India stated that the Nexus 7 will be released in the country in November. Company officials did not announced the pricing of this new Jelly Bean powered tablet, but they said that the pricing will be announced by the end of the next month.

The Times of India previously reported that the Google Nexus 7 would be launched in India in October, but now it seems that people in India will need to wait longer. November is a special month in India, and that’s because the festival of Diwali also falls in the same month. It seems the company is purposely launching this device in the festive season.
Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) announced the Nexus 7 tablet at the I/O conference in June, and the tablet is already selling like hot cakes. This 7-inch tablet is powered by a Tegra 3 quad-core processor, comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and a 1280×800 display.
The currently available model does not feature 3G connectivity. There’s also a rumor that Asus is working on a 3G model of Nexus 7. However, this rumor cannot be confirmed until Asus officially confirms it.
